The transfer section has died. Haven't heard anything more about Gardner or any of our trialists, not sure whether the club is just keeping it low key or whether there is actually nothing going on anymore. Sure hope we are trying to bring in new players...

RE: Trialists...
Craig Fagan and Njogu Demba-Nyren are no longer on trial, and will not be signed.
Darren Carter and Lomana LuaLua are still on trial with Blues.

Most of the hierarchy at the club have been travelling to and from Madeira this week and preparing for Sunday's game. 12 days still left and, as someone esle has posted, the window doesn't apply to free agents and loans in the Championship.

I'm glad things have died down, I'll be happy with the squad we have now and with the transfer window shutting less than two weeks away this is looking more and more likely.
I can see Dann leaving and thats it but with the money he goes for I think we can get some decent loan signings in.
Cameron Jerome and Liam Ridgewell I can see staying and this is only good news for the club.

sorry but how can you be happy with the squad that we have now? :banghead:
It's ridiculously thin, we are nearly into our youth team already, we have no strikers either.
So you would be happy then with ridgewell playing in midfield like thursday when we get a couple of injuries?

Our first 11 is strong. I did say we should take advantage of the loan market when we can

Sorry but how many times will we have our strongest 11 all fit at the same time this season? I'd say 0 times.
It's about the squad and at the minute we don't have a good enough squad.
We lost to derby and struggled past Coventry, does this not tell you anything?

We battered Derby away from home, where we deserved a point at the very least. We Imo anyway didn't really struggle against Coventry and we went away In Europe and battered Nacional aswell.
Does that not tell you anything?

We did not batter derby, where have you got that from? They should have won by 3 or 4 goals, they had slot of chances in the second half

I have to agree. Coventry was a tough game but they came for the draw and when teams do that its always hard to break them down. But 2nd half we did twice and got what we deserved. Wood should have scored with Fahey really but im sure we'll get better. KRO!!!!

Could you be a bit more specific about what CJ has done wrong and what exactly you expect him to do about Blues losing games? Are the players at all responsible? How about the coach?

CJ? you mean CY I presume. And if you need me to tell you what hes done then where have you been lately?
Not that I was talking about blues losing games anyway. I thought we were discussing the transfer window.
I think you may have your wires crossed.

We panned Derby, even their manager admitted In his post match Interview that his side were lucky!
If you want to be a defeatist then that's fine with me, you can think what you want, but there's no point coming on to a forum with that attitude! We have a great manager, a good (all be It very, very thin) squad and we are playing some of the best football any of us have seen Blues play probably In the last decade If truth be told!
We are creating chances, when a proper finisher aka Marlon King get's fit and gets a few games under his belt then I can only see good things personally, At the minute we have Adam Rooney and Chris wood as the only two strikers really, both are doing an admirable job, once the load can be shared out between two strikers then we will begin to climb the table, just see If we don't!

Yea CY. And as for the losing games - part, it's all about the club achieving success isn't it.
But yea, maybe CY will bu**er off and a rich Arab will buy the Blues and it'll all turn out great. Good to be optimistic eh.
